Danielle is a former neuroscience researcher turned actress/writer living in Brooklyn NY. Having spent her childhood in Illinois and North Carolina, she went to college and worked in pharmaceutical research in Boston, MA. There, to the surprise of everyone, she competed in the Miss Massachusetts and Miss Massachusetts USA systems from 2008-2011, always placing as a finalist. She left the pharmaceutical industry to perform at the American Repertory Theater in the Tony award-winning Diane Paulus's Donkey Show for 2 years. In 2012 she appeared as Jenny in Fairhaven, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival alongside Chris Messina and Sarah Paulson. In 2014 she wrote and performed sketch comedy full-time for Shadowbox Live! in Columbus OH before returning home to NYC, where she works as a personal trainer. She recently wrote, produced, and performed in 2 seasons of the web series IT Girls with some other VERY funny ladies from Upright Citizens Brigade (RIP). Her current project is Luxe +CULTure, a comedy she's written with the hilarious Jessica Saul satirizing the luxury fitness industry. In addition to writing and performing, she works as a personal trainer and trains Olympic Weightlifting with Brooklyn Training Hall.
